About
Born in 1987, Tei Lee is a Seoul based cinematographer best understood through his passion for adventure, travel and crafting worlds full of image.
Tei began his career as a camera assistant for a studio film. Ever since then, he has been involved in many films for over 10 years. As a cinematographer, he has shot dozens of short films and a feature film in Korea and Europe, and has continued to collaborate in various cultures and environments.
At the same time, he studied cinematography at the Korea National University of Arts(MA) and FAMU(MgA) in Prague.
Tei describes himself as a part time nomad, having travelled around the world and having shot in around Asia and Europe, Tei is used to thinking on her feet. His ability to confidently manage local crews and navigate unpredictable environments.
With experience across a diverse range of projects in various culture, including Fiction, Documentary, Music Videos and Commercials, Tei brings a unique perspective to each project he works on.

1987년 생인 이태희는 서울에서 활동하며 도전과 여행에 대한 열정과 창작자의 세계를 구현하는 과정을 가장 잘 이해하는 촬영감독이다.
영화 만드는 일을 직업적으로 시작하기 위해 상업영화 현장에서 촬영 조수로 일을 시작하게 되었고 현재까지 10여 년 이상 많은 영화에 참여했다. 동시에 촬영감독으로써 수십편의 단편영화와 독립 장편영화 등을 한국과 유럽에서 꾸준히 촬영해왔으며, 다양한 문화와 환경에서의 협업을 지속하고 있다.
동시에 그는 한국예술종합학교(전문사)와 프라하 국립영화학교(석사)에서 촬영과정을 수료하며 스스로를 발전시켜왔다.
그의 유목민적 성향은 어떠한 상황과 환경에서도 빠른 판단과 강한 적응력을 만들어냈다. 또한 현지 스텝과의 협업과 예기치 못한 환경에서 자신있고 부드럽게 프로덕션을 진행할 수 있는 능력을 갖추고 있다.
영화, 다큐멘터리, 뮤직비디오, 광고 등 다양한 프로젝트와 문화를 경험하면서 매 프로젝트마다 그는 그만의 독창적인 관점을 찾는 일에 몰두한다.
